Water is an important but scarce resource for our industry. Our water conservation efforts during construction include monitoring our water use from various sources to reduce potable and non-potable water. We design holistic water management programs for the occupancy phase of our developments including the use of low flow fixtures, STPs for recycling 100% of domestic water and reuse of up to 40% of STP water for landscaping and flushing.
Alternate and sustainable energy sources are paramount in transitioning to a net zero economy. Keeping this in mind, several of our commercial developments source a significant proportion of their energy demand from renewable sources such as solar and wind. We aim to provide onsite renewable energy to the maximum extent possible in our residential developments.
We measure all waste associated with our construction processes such as demolition, excavation and construction. We make provisions for holistic waste management and suitable disposal from our construction sites.
All our projects segregate waste into dry and wet and further process wet waste through OWCs on site. The dry waste from our developments is removed by vendors for further processing.
